lots of traffic on the flats all the way through SanZhi - go early to avoid - once in mtns, beautiful and quiet

every 6 months (April/Oct) there is a time-trial race here - many categories - very short race - fun

fairly steep climb but has its resting places - very nice view of many satellites - one can continue over the top and end up back at TAS (route coming soon...)
TAS up to

roughly a 1hr. ride up and a 25 minute ride back down - nice for before school!
TAS along coast to JinShan up to Saddle down to TAS

start off with 50km of flat ride and finish with a nice steep 1hr climb to the JinShan saddle before heading back down to TAS - plan 3 to 3.5 hours riding time

some steep parts in the climb - but at least the torture only lasts about 30 minutes
